Automatic Acquisition of the First Article Image as a Thumbnail Note Note: When using the "Automatic Acquisition of the First Article Image as a Thumbnail" feature, please be aware that it may not always work as expected.
- In the DUX theme, the display priority of thumbnails is: uploaded featured images, filled-in external thumbnail input, automatic retrieval of the first article image. Therefore, if your article has uploaded a featured image or used external thumbnail input, this function cannot be enabled.
- Automatic thumbnails can also be very visually appealing, provided that you may need to customize the thumbnail suffix character, which is based on your site's needs.
- Automatic thumbnails can also be used with asynchronous image loading set in the theme settings, if you have enabled this feature, so it won't affect the speed too much, unless your external link image resources are very poor.
Note:This update only includes this feature, and you don't need to update this version if you're not using it.
